Behind The Lens

Location

I was visiting a few local small businesses to feature them on my page. I captured this one at a sweet little bakery and I couldn't resist the colors!

Time

This was taken on a beautiful hot summer day, a bit after lunch time.

Lighting

This was taken in a bakery, so there was typical retail lighting, from above. There was a small bit of natural light coming from the storefront, as well.

Equipment

I shot this with a Nikon 5500 body and a Nikkor 50mm 1.8g Prime lens.

Inspiration

I loved the colors and this is one of the photos in a series of 3 that really captured the essence of the sweet Bakery!

Editing

Minimal editing, just touched up the lighting a bit.

In my camera bag

I have two Nikon Bodies, and I carry the 50mm Prime lens, along with a Tamron 18-250mm lens also. I use a on camera flash, with a MagSphere for optimal flash outcome.

Feedback

Just have fun! I love photographing people, but sometimes its great to just play around with small details and get creative!
