I like how this tells a story. It keeps you wanting to know more. Like what are they talking about....where are they going....

Absolutely stunning retro shot! Love the setting and architecture lends itself perfectly for this shot. Awesome!!

Location
Leadenhall Market, Bank, London.Time
This was at 10am on a Saturday morning, as the market is closed on a weekend and early mornings are generally emptyLighting
Predominantly natural light from it entrances and glass ceiling, but also used a flashgun on about 1/32Equipment
D750, f2.8 24-70mm with a tripod and a YN560 iii flashgunInspiration
Did a previous shoot at this location and loved its decor and old paving stone that made it a perfect place to do a retro shoot. This was a test shot of the 2 models (Paul Walker and Robbie Hunte), whilst they were walking in position to walk back down towards the camera, but their unaware conversation gave the image its natural composition.Editing
Yes amazingly it was a 2 click edit, done in HDR effects pro2 Nik Collection, and artistic black and white option. In my camera bag
I always have my f2.8 24-70mm, f2.870-200, flashgun, lens cleaner, lots of sd cards, spare batteriesFeedback
Capture the moment in its natural environment instead of trying to create a look by telling the model what to do. Plan your locations well, if you see something great whilst travelling to a shoot, write it down and use it the next time your in the area.
