Behind The Lens
Location
This photo was taken on the ledge of my front window. It was a matter of the way the ledge looked at the time, and the way the light hit.Time
It was somwtime during the mid-day to the mid-afternoon. At the time, I had one or two young children at home, so the time kind of blurs.Lighting
The light was coming through a front window. We had a front porch with a roof to help keep the sun from being to hard. I made sure that most of theblight was coming from behind to light the flower up.Equipment
I don't have the specifics on hand. It was my Canon Rebel T3 with the standard lens and a macro extension tube. The flower is at most, as big as my thumbnail.Inspiration
I am always trying to take new pictures. During my morning walk, my daughter loved me picking flowers so she could give them to people as we walked. This was a left over from the walk. Once I had the chance, I was going to practice with all the flowers. This became a favorite of mine.Editing
I try to keep my photos as close to natural as possible. There is always a little bit of tweaking to stay true to the natural colors. In my camera bag
I don't have my bag on hand, but my Canon Rebel T3, a couple of lenses, a couple of filters, extension tubes for macrophotography, a couple of filter lenses, a flash light, 2 extra batteries, two chargers, two SD cards, and a bunch more.Feedback
My advice to anyone trying to capture a similar picture is to play with positions of your objects and try placing them in place you may not always yhink to at first.
