This was taken on a morning walk on part of Devil's Dyke at Newmarket, EnglandTime
It looks earlier but it was about 9am, after sunrise between Christmas and New Year 2015Lighting
I just thought the morning sun looked beautiful through the tree branchesEquipment
Nikon D5200Inspiration
Originally it was just the shape of the tree but then my dog came trotting through the frame and I had to click!Editing
I had only just got Lightroom at this time so just basic tweaking with exposure and shadows...plus straighteningIn my camera bag
The Nikon D5200 has an 18-140 on by default as I can capture most things on walkabout with that...also in the bag is a 50mm prime plus spare battery, lens cloths and, more recently, a spare memory card after a recent fail on a photo walk in which I lost a lot of potentially lovely images with a faulty one.Feedback
I'm still very much an amateur so absorbing advice from others at this point! All I will say is, keep your eyes open, there's beauty everywhere
