Well, getting access in Dubai to shoot pictures is not very easy. This was a residential building in Dubai Marina which is almost 28kms away from my house. I had to sneak in this building rooftop to shoot.Time
This was at about 2.45 a.m. I reached the spot at about 1.45 a.m to try to get access to a good rooftop to shoot. Wen't in at least 5 buildings prior to my final building and finally got to shoot these images.Lighting
Well, lighting is a very wast subject. Sometimes you can use natural lighting and at times you need the other gear to capture good pictures.Equipment
5d MK III, Canon 24-105mm, 50MM 1.8, 74-205mmInspiration
Getting fog pictures is extremely difficult as at times it is mist and not fog.. You have to be awake the whole night to confirm that there will be fog. Dubai is known for its architecture which makes the capturing part even more difficult.Editing
I prefer using contrast, brightness which mainly the originality of the picture and it shouldn't look fake. So I try to keep the post processing at minimum. In my camera bag
5d MK III, Canon 24-105mm, 50MM 1.8, 74-205mm, 600 EX RT Speedlite. Wireless trigger and dome boxFeedback
Well.... this portion is the most difficult for me to describe... Only thing I can say is, keep practicing till you get your desired results and you will be perfect.
