you have taken a portion of the background or setting for this portrait that would normally be a flaw or distraction, and integrated it into the photo making it both unique and interesting; job very well done!

Location
The photo is taken at a public park near my home, in autumn 2014. I loved the contrast of the last rays of light on the skin and the dark leavesTime
Is was at sunset, just before it was getting too dark to take other photos.Lighting
I used natural light. I love to control lighting using flash and soft boxes but this time le light is perfect for the idea I was developing.Equipment
I used a Nikon D810 with a 35mm Sigma Art 1.4Inspiration
Nothing special about inspiration. I loved the colours and the light, so i decided to take this picture because I wanted an image that was whimsical and delicate.Editing
I only worked a little on the skin and on the leaves, but nothing special. In my camera bag
Usually I have my Nikon D810 and a Nikkor 85mm 1.8D and 35mm Sigma Art. I use the 85mm very often but I love the details of the 35mm, so I use them when this feature is important. I like to create images with also a big emphasis on background and the 35mm is optimal for this kind of mood.Feedback
I think that the most important thing for a photographer is to be aware that what we perceives as limits are self imposed. We can try to break the rules, to experiment, to fail in order to find our style, the mood we like. And we must experiment new genres, new kind of images all the time. This will keep our creativity at a high level and we can develop, image after image.
