This is truly a masterpiece. I have been doing this for over a year and a half, special solutions that last longer and sit for over 3 minutes. Great fun. I cannot enter this since I am only a premium..

Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken in my front lawn on a cold frozy afternoon. I had been waiting for frost and had my soapbubblemix ready for a upportunity to test this out.

Time

Early afternoon.

Lighting

The only light used here ,is the streetslamps giving of the golden shine.

Equipment

Canon EOS 700d, Canon EF 100mm 1:2,8. My" Little Mermaid" soapbubble dispenser.No other equipment used.

Inspiration

Saw a lot of this kind of photos on various photo sites, was intrigued, and decided to make a try myself. Read up on techniques and gave it a go.

Editing

Edited in Lightroom. Contrast,clearity and made it a little darker. Cropped.

In my camera bag

Oh !! I always bring everything ( almost ) that I have. I mostly have no clue what I to photograph, so I bring something for every opportunity. My camera Canon EOS 700D, a Canon EFS 18-135, a Canon EF100mm 1:2,8 a Canon EF 50mm 1:1,8 ,a Tamron SP 70-300 mm f/4-5,6, a Sigma EX 10-20 mm 1:4-5,6. I also bring a Phottix Aion timer,a Velbon EX-530 tripod,a Velbon RUP-L43II monopod, various filters, spare batteries,a spare SDHC card, microcloths. And of course, my beanbag.

Feedback

Make a good soapbubblemix. By some glycerol to add to your dishwater detergent and water.Also add a little sugar. Try out some mixes until you find the one wich holds. I found the best temperature to be minus 4-6 degrees C.
