Location
I took this photo in the nearby woods from my home. Just out walking the dog on a sunday . I always bring the camera with me, as a habit.Time
In the middle of bright summer day.Lighting
Natural light. Even though this is in the middle of a bright summer day, this area of the woods was in the shadows of the nearby trees.Equipment
My camera is a Canon EOS 700D. The lens a Canon EF-S 18-135 mm. I also used a soft beanbag,Prefer the beanbag instead of a small tripod, so I can get really low to the ground for this kind of photo. And the camera will sink into the beanbag and lay perfectly still.Inspiration
Just found it to be a good motiveEditing
For this a little cropping and some minor adjustments in Lightroom. In my camera bag
Oh !! I always bring everything ( almost ) that I have. I mostly have no clue what I to photograph, so I bring something for every opportunity. My camera Canon EOS 700D, a Canon EFS 18-135, a Canon EF100mm 1:2,8 a Canon EF 50mm 1:1,8 ,a Tamron SP 70-300 mm f/4-5,6, a Sigma EX 10-20 mm 1:4-5,6. I also bring a Phottix Aion timer,a Velbon EX-530 tripod,a Velbon RUP-L43II monopod, various filters, spare batteries,a spare SDHC card, microcloths. And of course, my beanbag.Feedback
As said, for down to the ground shooting, use a soft beanbag to cradle the camera/lens for perfect balance and steadyness.
