Location
The photo was taken in Romania, in a small mountain village kept away from the city life, where the everyday life is connected entirely to the nature.Time
It was almost the sunset, after 30 minutes was dark.Lighting
I was expecting this moment of the day for two hours, waiting for the sun to be half hidden after the peaks of the tall mountains when the light falls only on the hill in the foreground of the photo.Equipment
The camera I used is a Nikon D3200, with the good old 18-105 mm f/3,5-5,6 G Nikkor lens. No tripod, no other equipment used.Inspiration
Nature and old Romanian villages inspire me and I try to capture images for sharing their essence. For me, this place and this moment was heaven.Editing
The only enhancements I made were fine adjustments of contrast, sharpness and shadow lightning. In my camera bag
I have a Nikon D3200 that came with a Nikkor 18-105 f/3.5-5.6. After that, I bought a superb 40 mm f/2.8 Nikkor prime and a very useful Tamron 70-300 f/4-5.6 zoom. The most recent acquisition is a 55-200 G Nikkor that is still in test. The Nissin Di622 Mark II flash is another key-element of my bag. Two tripods are also part of my gear but, they are rarely used.Feedback
The timing is everything and, of course, you have to find a superb place. Fortunately, Romania has a lot of beautiful sights like this.
