I took this picture of Gobi Desert from the top of Mingsha Mountain near Dunhuang in Gansu Province, China. Mingsha Mountain actually means "The Singing Sand Dunes"...... the sand dunes that give out a singing or rattling sound when the wind blows. This is a famous tourist attraction in Dunhuang.Time
Just at sunrise around 5:30 a.m. I climbed up this huge sand dunes at pitch darkness in order to watch the sunrise.Lighting
The light was natural light.Equipment
I shit this with a Canon G10, hand held.Inspiration
An expedition of camel passing the desert with the curves , light and shadows made up a very beautiful picture to me. I wasted no time to capture it.Editing
No post processing in this photo. In my camera bag
Lenses cleaner and spared batteries. A Huawei p30pro cellphone and a small portable tripod for the cellphone.Feedback
Swift action to capture is advisable in such situation since the light as well as the movement of the objects could change rapidly into a different scenario.
