Behind The Lens

Location

The photograph was taken at my home studio in Chisinau, Republic of Moldova.

Time

The photo was taken on September 7, 2015.

Lighting

I used two soft boxes on each side and set the lightning to minimum.

Equipment

I used a Nikon D7000 with the Nikkor 20mm f/1.8, a tripod, a remote trigger, two studio flashes with soft boxes and a white backdrop.

Inspiration

I was inspired by intimate relations among couples and I tried to present them through pictures.

Editing

The only thing I used was the Camera Raw in Photoshop to improve the light and colors.

In my camera bag

My Nikon D7000, my Nikkor 50mm f/1.8 and my Nikkor 20mm f/1.8

Feedback

You should use a white backdrop and have two light sources, one from each side. You should also be very careful when framing the picture. In addition, make sure the subjects have the proper stance and body language.
