Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo at the Central Park Zoo. We didn’t know if the snow leopards were going to grace us with their presence and then this beautiful cat appeared. I took several photos but for this one the cat literal sat and posed. Breathtaking.

Luckily it was a sunny day and the enclosure helped diffuse some of the sun light.

Equipment

Handheld Canon 70D.

Inspiration

I love all cats, especially big cats. So happy to have captured this.

Editing

Yes. I removed the few fence lines that I couldn’t avoid when I took the photo. Also cropped.

In my camera bag

I’m not a professional by any means, so my equipment load is fairly light. Canon 70D body, 3 lenses, hoods, etc
