I took this about mid day I had an appointment set for that afternoon to do Frozen photos. This was a queen Elsa session.Lighting
I remember I had the light at about a 45 deg angle and I wanted to get her just to the right spot she was only 3 so I tell her can you look at the light for me? And she did and I grabbed that sweet look she has! This is also in color...Equipment
I used my studio Einstein strobes and a large octogon soft box and lens was 85mm 1/80 sec f 6.3 iso 100Inspiration
We were doing frozen fairytale sessions and this cutie happened to be a part of it all I just went with her cues and captured herEditing
Yes this is post processed it was cropped to her face from a more distant photo she just had this amazing look on her face I felt needed to be brought forth and I did some edits and sharpened and brought out the beautiful light in those eyes!In my camera bag
I always have extra lens' my portable soft box for my speed light extra batteries my trigger for on location speed lights and xtra cards for the camera...Feedback
Well I just go with the flow with these little ones but on occasion you'll get a super listener and you can get some super shots even at 2 or 3 it's amazing how some kids just have that personality then you just go with it! Like I said all I had her do was look at the light and recognize that sweet look on her face to showcase.... I think the right angle as well is important I was at a high angle when I captured this I had stepped up on my step ladder to do this one ... Make sure the light is on her face and have her look up at the light ... My advice to others would be just shoot! Don't get caught up in all the specifics you need to know specifics but when you shoot with your heart amazing things happen!
