Location
This is taken at a pond that is 13.5km from Yellowknife, NT along Ingraham Trail. This is a favorite spot because there is a portion of the pond on either side of the highway. It is connected by a culvert under the road. The Sun sets in the low point of the trees for about 2 weeks in May and again 2 weeks in July.Time
This was taken at midnight. The sunset was at 11:40PMLighting
The north is famous for Aurora in the winter and sunsets in the summer. One you home for clear skies and the other you want some clouds. The light on this pond just seems to be perfect all the time at sunsetEquipment

Converted from Raw to JPG using Adobe Camera Raw to Photoshop and then ran Pro Contrast in Nik CollectionIn my camera bag
Currently I have a Nikon D850, D810 and D800 in my bag along with about 8 different lenses. I always have my Nikkor 24-70 and 70-200 2.8 along with a Sigma 20 1.4, Sigma 14 1.8, Sigma 50 1.4 and 105 Macro and depending on summer or winter, a few other lenses that will change depending on what I am out shooting. I usually have 2-3 tripods in my car and I carry 3 sets of wireless shutter releases. I also carry a notebook, compass and InReach Explorer.Feedback
