Location
I took this photo from the backseat of my dads car as we were driving home on the motorway from Leicester to Birmingham.Time
My photo shows clearly the time of day, probably about 7 o'clock in the evening when the sun was setting.Lighting
The light from the sun was so bright and the sky was mesmerising, I don't believe this photo does true justice to the beauty of the sky that day.Equipment
I used my Olympus SP-720UZ camera, without flash or a lens. I zoomed in a little but I was surprised at the quality of the photo considering that I had taken it whilst turning round in a moving vehicle.Inspiration
I felt that the sunset was so unique and I would probably never see that particular view ever again, so I decided I wanted to capture it.Editing
I don't believe that I edited this photo because I felt it was best left unfiltered and so the true beauty of nature could be shown. In my camera bag
Normally I carry my Olympus SP-720UZ and iPhone which I find is more than necessary for spontaneous photos.Feedback
I would say that you should always be prepared for a beautiful sunset on a sunny day. If it has been sunny throughout the day, it is likely the sunset will be quite vivid and colourful, so just keep looking. Also, take several shots from different angles and positions to get the perfect shot. Always focus the lens and if possible use a tripod to ensure a clear photo.
