Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at my studio at home...(shed, converted into a studio)

Time

Night time as I like to work with artificial light. I have studio lights given to me by an old television studio that closed here in Cairns, Australia

Lighting

I worked with an overhead projector with a tropical Palm-fond was the light source of this image.....

Equipment

A cheap Nikon camera...D3100....;-)

Inspiration

As I live in the tropics ..... the shadows of palm fronds are a constant that reflect the pavements while walking.....and to convert this shadow onto my favorite model was a little step then....;-)

Editing

I work with photoshop 6 (released in 2000) ...the reason I work with this old program is ...that I need the manual input onto a digital image to justify my background in painting......what takes "one" click with CS6 takes me a whole night with Php 6 ....love it....!!!

In my camera bag

Always have my camera with me as I do feel naked without it.....
