5 weeks after Hurricane Sandy I finally made my way to Union Beach. The clean up continues but still looks like a war zone. This house on Front st. is only yards from the shore line. Before I captured this image, I stood there in ah to the devastation to the town of Union Beach.

Great detail, terrific exposure and contrast, and lots of drama, danger and tragedy. What a combination! A fantastic tribute to the strength of such a storm.

What a catch! At first glance I thought this was some fancy editing, then I started reading. Very Sad. We spend time every summer in OC NJ. I almost feel at home there and was hoping the damage to the area was not too bad.......So many places I hope are still there.

The carpenter that built this would or should be proud of how well its holding up and defying gravity.
