Location
We took this at a top secret bluebonnet field by our house that no one knows about!Time
About 3 hours before sunset.Lighting
Honestly I picked this location because it’s got a huge line of trees that naturally diffuses the light when the sun is going down and that always gives me that really creamy skin tone of Sarah with minimal editing.Equipment
I used a Canon 6D Mark iii body with an 84mm lens.Inspiration
I knew I wanted to offer bluebonnet sessions so I wanted to test this location before I sold my clients on out.Editing
Mostly just tweaked lighting and contrast because I like a heavier contrast to make the image pop! Nothing fancy or intricate though. In my camera bag
Since im a newbie, all I carry right now is my Canon body, 50mm and 85mm lens and that’s it.Feedback
Okay it’d be silly for me to offer advice yet as I am just beginning myself but the one thing I will say about this particular image is, DIFFUSE THE LIGHTING, I think these images look so much better than the images I took with direct sunlight.
