When I camp in the wilds,i try to attract these guys and keep them around. They are great "watch dogs",alerting me to any and all wildlife that approaches. This is especially good where i live since its all Grizzly Bear and Black Bear country. A few morsels of food when im at camp, keeps them interested.Squirrels also make great sentinals.

This distinct mountain at the end of this valley was used by natives and early trappers to navigate through the Monolith Range in northern Yukon,Canad

At the edge of a swamp,where the water is shallow,these grassy little mounds get covered in snow making for a cool light-shadow-texture kind of shot .
