Location
This photo was taken near Churchill, Manitoba prior to Hudson Bay freezing up.Time
This was taken just prior to sunset on October 31st.Lighting
The mothers and cubs spend most of their days are spent resting waiting for freeze up and seal hunting to begin. The lighting and angles of the bears immediately caught my attention.Equipment
This was taken with a Sony Alpha 99m2 and a Tamron 150-600mm lens, iso 800, f8 at 1/200 sec.Inspiration
The lighting and positioning of the bears immediately attracted my attention.Editing
Post processing, mainly balancing the highlights, was done in Lightroom. In my camera bag
I always carry the Sony a99m2 and the Tamron 150-600 when photographing wildlife, as well as a couple smaller lenses.Feedback
When after polar bears on foot, dress WARM!
