Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken in my back-yard where I set up a small studio using a garden table as a support and a drawing board as a background.

Time

It was afternoon, around 3 or 4 p.m.

Lighting

Over the table, in order to have a soft light, I used the awning of my pergola

Equipment

My Nikon D3200 with the normal 18/55 zoom that cames with the camera. I shooted freehand without flash

Inspiration

There were those seven stones lying in a corner that in some way were calling me. In the very first shot the stones were dry, but the result did not satisfy me (too grey) so I wet them in order to darken and... voilà

Editing

I only cancelled some small spots

In my camera bag

Camera, tripod (used three or four times in my life), polarized filter, zoom, Nothing more
