Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken on a small sand bar on the Colorado River in Moab, Utah.

Time

This image was taken during Golden Hour; it was so hot! Luckily, we had a light breeze and played in the water.

Lighting

It was Golden Hour, the sun reflected a warm glow off the water. I had so much fun playing with my manual settings on my camera.

Equipment

This shot was taken with my Canon Rebel T7i and a 50mm fixed lend mm

Inspiration

I grew up in Moab, Utah and have always loved the beautiful scenery. I had an idea of a boudoir photoshoot in the wilderness, surrounded by red rocks. It was tourist season so red rocks were out of the question -- off to the Colorado River!

Editing

I edited this image in Lightroom and used presets that I made myself.

In my camera bag

My camera bag always has snacks, water, extra battery packs, extra SD cards, my Canon Rebel T7i & 50mm fixed lens.
