My husband and I rescued this beautiful girl from our local humane society when she was 3 years old. A few years after this photo was taken we found out she had cancer and she passed about year later. She was the best girl. She was calm, protective, loving, and playful when she felt like it.

I will always have a Pyrenees. They are the most wonderful dogs, though not for everyone.❤️❤️

When I was first getting into photography I took this photo in my living room of our beautiful rescue B.Time
I had just gotten home around 4pm from a long day at work, and this sweet girl came to sit next to me on the couch. The natural light coming through the window was perfect. She looked majestic.Lighting
The natural light peering through our living room window was just perfect that day. The amount of attention this picture has gotten just goes to show how important lighting is for a photo.Equipment
I took this photo with an iPhone that is now considered very out dated. The natural beauty in this picture is one of the first muses that lead me to dive deeper into photography.Inspiration
I looked over and saw B gazing out the window. Not concerned about anything, just watching. She was so peaceful and beautiful. I knew I had to get a picture of her. She’s calm and carefree yet majestic and powerful.Editing
At the time of taking this photo I knew very little about the editing phase. All I did to this picture was increase the contrast a bit. The way the light was coming in the window it was already dark behind her. With a slight enhance she stood out even more.In my camera bag
My current set up is a Canon Rebel and the lenses I purchased with it. I’m looking into upgrading to further advance my photography.Feedback
I would say always be ready to take a picture. More often than not the best shots come from being in the right place at the right time.
