Location
This photo was taken in our home town of Daytona Beach, FL.Time
We had heard about a stranded boat so decided to make a sunrise opportunity out of the excursion.Lighting
Lighting was not something I struggled with on this shot since the sunrise and the lights on the boat helped to accent all the right features.Equipment
This was taken with my Pentax camera.Inspiration
I have always loved photography of shrimp boats and when a photo of this was in our local newspaper it was a no brainer! Was hoping for a good sunrise to go with it. Not much of one, but the drama with the dark clouds just seemed to make the photo.Editing
I did a little with the highlighting to accent the sunrise and lights on the boat.In my camera bag
Back then I used a Pentax. Now I am using a Canon Rebel T7 EOS, 18-300 zoom lens. I like this camera as I do not have to keep changing from one lens to another. I am very happy with it.Feedback
Just get out and try your best. Take lots of shots and experiment. But the best advice is to have fun with it!
