Nothing could improve this shot. Amazing - I love it. Iceland is my most favorite place...Thank you.

I don't really see any room for improvement, here. Everything is well composed, and framed. The semi-dark sky really adds a lot

Location
This photo was taken in west Iceland, on the Southern edge of the Snæfellsness peninsular.Time
This was taken on September 5, 2017 at 8 PM.Lighting
I took advantage of the natural light that was in the moment, I didn´t use any kind of flash or artificial lightEquipment
This was shot on a Nikon D610 and an Irix 15mm f/2.4.Inspiration
I was looking for a dark, gloomy atmosphere on this shot, I thought it would look great with the black church in front and the door framing the whole of the photo.Editing
I just used photoshop to contrast the image and give a little strength to the clouds. I also corrected some small errors in the perspective of the imageIn my camera bag
in my backpack normally I only carry the nikon D610 and a Irix 15mm. It is risky to do this type of photographic trips with only one lens on the backpack but I like the challenges xD I also usually carry some neutral density filters, gradients and a remote triggerFeedback
First of all arm yourself with patience, this small church is usually full of tourists and finding the ideal moment can be complicated, it is better to place the tripod and just wait for the right moment to shoot
