Location
This photo was taken next to Bahrain's national museum.Time
I took this photo at around 11 pmLighting
There was a cliff, then the shore and sea. So I went down the cliff to take this photo from a low angle. On the cliff, I used the bus's lights to light the dhow from the front.Equipment
I used a Canon 7D Mark ii, with a Tamron 10-24 mm wide angle lens. Of course the tripod is a must.Inspiration
Looking at all the dhow pictures, and living in the arabian region, got me to put this thought in my mind.Editing
Post processing was some nois reduction and sharpening. Additionally, I made some color correction. In my camera bag
I usually get my Canon 7D Mark ii, with my speedlight flash. And the set of lenses I have got are: Tamron 10-24mm, Tamron 24-70 mm, Canon 55-250mm and the Canon 100mm Macro. The tripod is a must at every photo shoot. I always get multiple memory cards.Feedback
The wind was moving the dhow frequently, so the motion blur was an issue. However, I noticed that if I make the aperture at F4, and the sutter speed at 10" I got the sharpest picture. Good luck everyone.
