Location
I took this photo in downtown Oklahoma City, OK.Time
A group of my friends decided to meet up around 10:00 p.m. to grab some shots of the city. It was getting late and the fog was starting to move in heavy limiting our time.Lighting
I wanted to use the natural city light with a long exposure to capture this shot and keep it realistic.Equipment
I shot this using a DJI Inspire 1 Pro using an X5 camera with a Olympus M.ZUIKO 12mm f2.0.Inspiration
I love taking shots of the city at night. Cities look like a work of art to me at night. This particular night, the fog was moving faster than I have ever seen it. It made for an epic shot!Editing
This was originally a color image. I edited it to black and white as I loved the mystery and class it added to the shot.In my camera bag
I carry all of my equipment in a Go Professional case designed for the DJI Inspire 1 Pro. I carry a 12mm, 15mm and 45mm lens along with a large set of batteries. As well, I use an IPad Pro for flying so it lives in the case. I also carry my Nikon D300 and a 50mm lens.Feedback
Patience, that is the key to aerial photography, especially at night. Know the limits of your equipment and your own ability. The beauty of drones is capturing unique angles!
