Each day as I leave my apartment I noticed the Hosta blooms along a retaining wall and thought of how beautiful they look. I grabbed my camera and tripod and waited for the sun to shine just right on the single bloom. I wanted to capture not only the color, but the pollen on the stigma of the bloom.
