Behind The Lens

Location

Its taken at the black church at Búðir, Snæfellsnes peninsula - Iceland

Time

Around noon in the middle of the winter when the sun is low on the horizon.

Lighting

Its both great opportunity to get the sunburst but its also very challenging to get it right. Here I got the perfect condition at the right time, the sun was low on the horizon and the clouds made the picture more dramatic.

Equipment

Canon 5DM4, 16-35mm M2 lens and Lee filters.

Inspiration

When I am doing photo tours around the Snæfellsnes peninsula I always stop at the black church. I saw right away that this time we would have something special so I was ready with my camera gear to get the best.

Editing

Not very much, correct the horizon line, correct the church, clean up little bit the lens flare, little contrast and sharpness.

Now I have Canon 5DM4 and 16-35mm M3 and filters from Kase
