Location
I took this photo on a diving expedition to toothbrush island in Wollongong, NSW , AustraliaTime
This photo would be have been taken around lunch time, it is a bit easy to take underwater photos with lots of sunlight.Lighting
When diving it is usually easier to use the direct sunlight behind you and on the subject to get the best shot.Equipment
I used my first camera an Olympus EPL-1camera with underwater housing.Inspiration
I just love taking photos of wild animals and when in the water with seals they are so playful and sometimes come barking at you like a dog as you can see in the picture.Editing
Yes a bit of post editing, as you tend to lose a lot of colour underwater. So adding colours like red to it makes it more realistic. In my camera bag
When diving just normally my camera and housing, if diving at night a strobe and video light is normally needed.Feedback
Don't be afraid to explore the underwater world with all the amazing friendly animals. Also remember sunlight is your best friend when taking underwater photos.
