Behind The Lens

Location

New Orleans LA.

Time

In the afternoon

Lighting

This was a double exposure.

Equipment

Olympus film camera and edited it in my iPhone

Inspiration

The war ships were in port during Mardi Gras. The cemeteries in New Orleans are below sea level so people are not buried but placed in above ground mosuleums.

Editing

This was taken by rewinding the film in the camera and Shooting the ships first than the graveyard was shot superimposing the image on the first shot.

In my camera bag

I do not have a camera bag. Gave that up when I started using my iPhone. I do carry a pack with food, water and a windbreak. I’m a fine artist by trade and for me the most important tools i carry are my creative mind, my eyes and my compositional skills learned over the years making a living showing my artwork.

Feedback

Not sure if you can since this photo was created using 35 mm film and then recaptured using digital in my iPhone so that I could put it on line.
