Behind The Lens

Location

I love my home town...Bucharest has so many wonderful places. I love the old houses in the old town center. This was the reason that I chose to take this photo in front of the steps of one of these houses.

Time

I remember that I spent all that day outside, taking photos around the town. The day was almost over...

Lighting

I am mesmerized about natural light. It can give so many alternatives, shadows, mystery and romance...Almost all my photos are taken in natural light, like this one also.

Equipment

At that time I had a Nikon body, D5100. Many would say that may not be the best one, but it was the best one in that moment.

Inspiration

My friend, Cristina, was a passionate dancer. She was not doing it at a profesional level, but she used to dance with such passion and dedication that I had to capture the moment.

Editing

I'm not a big fan of post processing, but this time I thought that I could make it better by fill in blacks, adding some contrast and using some vignette.

In my camera bag

Now I use a Nikon D7100, a 70-200mm lens and a 10-24mm.

Feedback
