Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo on my back porch. I had an onion that was blossomed out. I have always loved taking photos! I started with black and white film and developing my own prints when I was twelve.

Time

This was mid morning. Dew was perfectly positioned on this onion blossom.

Lighting

The sun was low in the sky which was lighting up the dew perfectly! I was able to capture this using only natural light.

Equipment

I used my Nikon D3200 with 18-55mm F3.5-5.6 lens. It was a quick shot. I didn't need any other equipment.

Inspiration

It was a beautiful morning. I love how the sunlight was making the dew glisten on everything. Noticed the dew drops on the onion blossom and liked how it looked.

Editing

I used a couple edit features on my camera. I cropped the image and adjusted the color slightly.

In my camera bag

I am still a beginner photographer so I have my Nikon D3200, 18 - 55 mm and 55 - 200 mm lenses.

Feedback

Be patient. Sometimes it can be hard to get the focus right. Good lighting helps a lot. Practice, practice, practice
