The description is as follows: "Every bit of this composite was shot by me (I've been asked). The rock the women sit on came from a photo of a lion exhibit at the Fresno Chaffee Zoo's new African Adventure exhibit. The gulls were all shot near Monterey, CA, and most were individually composited in, and resized, before I re-built their shadows by a combination of cloning, handpainting, and dodging-burning. The clouds, ocean, and the coastal trees of the background were all shot on a recent 2,000 mile drive I took through Oregon and Washington. And the models, of course, were shot in my studio. Comments are invited, and welcome, even if critical."
However, I realized later that I could dink around with the colors to tie things together better, and so that's what I've done.
The print looks even better than the online version, and is currently hanging at the Jewel FM Gallery in downtown Fresno, through the end of February 2016.
