Behind The Lens
Location
Ithaca, New York - fall creek riverTime
It was an early summer morning visit after breakfast. The area was really quite and I remember all I can hear is the sound of the fall.Lighting
The sky was semi-cloudy but bright and light quality was soft and a pretty give fit to render the texture of the fall.Equipment
Canon T1-i with tokina 11-16mm wide angle len. Sitting on a tripod and with black glassInspiration
It was actually my first couple experiences with the N3 filter, working to time it correctly and to see how the color saturated and change through different setting. The person stepped in front of the lens somehow balance the proportion in the image.Editing
This is photo did edit lightly in lightroom. I brought back some blue and tone down the saturation of green a bit. Trying to complement the fall more than compete with it.In my camera bag
Nowadays, I usually have Canon6D with 24-105EF len when it comes to travelling. It's a light duo that can snap a lot of photos.Feedback
stay closer and be familiar with the context before the shooting. It is always fun to observe and find something interesting.
