I love the composition of this image - the inclusion of the out-of-focus tree on the right, making the squirrel stand out all the more. Great shot! :D

This photo just goes to show that simple uncluttered shots, with a high impact sharp main image are always the best!

Location
This photo was taken in Kruger National Park in South Africa. I was actually waiting in the vehicle for my family to return from the shop in Satara rest camp. As luck would have it I had a nice parking spot in the shade. I noticed the movement in the tree right next to the vehicle. This squirrel was full of theatrics and dashed into view to vanish just as quickly. Finally after about 30 shots it was at the perfect spot and still long enough to render the shot.Time
Most people will say not your best time of day, this was taken around noon. The ample shade and brilliant sunlight did ensure a good exposure without too much difficulty.Lighting
Harsh sunlight, all around but it just made the shaded subject that much better.Equipment
This was taken with a Nikon D7000 and a Sigma 150-500, Aperture f/6?ISO 1250?Shutter 1/500?Focal Length 2900/10. Handheld from the vehicle window.Inspiration
I just love nature and being outdoors. What a great opportunity to practice photography my other favorite pastime.Editing
Very little, as my skills with post production not great, little bit of noise reduction and levels adjustment and cropped the image. In my camera bag
This photo was taken a long time ago, I'm an amateur and have the following equipment currently in my bag. Nikon D500, Nikon 200-500 f5.6 vr lens. Nikon 50mm F1.8 prime and a Nikon 18-140mm Lens. Flash (Metz), Extended battery grip, extension rings, additional battery and some memory cards.Feedback
Gary Player the renowned golfer used to quote "The more I practice the luckier I get", well that's true. Experiment and be yourself, i.e. take a photo to your liking as everybody is unique and some may criticize but just as many or even more people out there would also like your creation. Just make sure you're having fun and enjoy the opportunity.
