Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo during a workshop in Verona with the models Elisa and Dony

Time

In the afternoon session of the shooting

Lighting

Two soft box symmetrically disposed at left and right

Equipment

Nikon D800 with Nikon 24-70 f2.8G @ 50mm f9 ISO100 1/125

Inspiration

I have seen a lot of images of big photographers in order to have the idea. Moreover the models are very collaborative and available to test a lot of poses!

Editing

The post-processing is very simple: i've just reduce the saturation, reduce the blacks level

In my camera bag

I have always alla my gear with me! I have a Nikon D810, a D600, a D80, several lenses (24-70, 50mm and 85mm) and memory cards.

Feedback

My advice is use the black and white picture style on the camera so you can see directly the final result without distraction of the colors and the white balance. Moreover you can use a orange filter on the picture style!
