It looks like a giant black bird is trapped in the ice! Great capture! :)

no extra light. only natural sunlight though it was kinda heavily cloudy yet this added to the idea i had in mindEquipment
panasonic fz-30 (a bridge camera).Inspiration
we had been to iceland in june which is supposed to be summer. yet in this golden circle trip, it was getting colder and more cloudy the further we go. as we arrived to the glacier walk spot it was already too cold, too windy and kinda heavily cloudy.. the view was very beautiful though with the different colors of the icy berg yet i wanted so much to find a shot that expresses the general atmosphere. this harsh, cold and kinda unwelcoming strong wind. as we got in the boat having our trip between the melting ice berg i took couple of pics and was trying to compose this harsh pic i had in mind till i found this ice berg. for a moment i could imagine it as a giant flying beast from an old legend. so i decided to have it like that in the pic..i took my spot beside the edge of the boat and kept watching it in my viewfinder as the boat is moving till i got my correct angle and snapped the pic.Editing
some shake reduction to counteract shaking from boat movement and handheld shaking of the camera. i also adjusted brightness and contrast. In my camera bag
now i don't use this camera anymore. i have a canon 7d with 15-85mm zoom lens. 50 and 24 primes. a tripod. different sized filters from hoya..recently obtained a second hand set of filters from cokin. an extra battery.Feedback
