Behind The Lens

Location

I shot this image in a dry land near my Hometown Bagalkot, Karnataka. I am a self taught photographer, so every image I shoot I learn something new.

Time

This is probably one of the beat images I shot, It was a hot afternoon with around 42 degree Celsius. It was shot at 2pm.

Lighting

The sunlight was very harsh, which almost made the other images burn out., There was too much of sun and the light, so had to wait for the perfect moment, so shot this when cloud helped me with this and got a nice decent amount of light when the thin clouds passed by.

Equipment

This was shot on a Nikon D5100, 55-200mm lens. and a tripod.

Inspiration

The look on this man's face spoke many things. So, I just waited for the right moment and right lighting, so that I can capture the same expressions without missing it.

Editing

Used Lightroom for just little corrections like contrast and whitebalance.

In my camera bag

A nikon D5100, with 18-55mm, 55-200mm. Samsung's S7 edge to capture quick snaps.
