Behind The Lens

Location

This photos was taken in France in a forest of Eure department.

Time

It was the end of the day. I was with friends and dogs. When I saw this alley, I knew that it was the moment and the place to take photos.

Lighting

It was a backlight situation. I remembered that I needed to compensate that in manual mode.

Equipment

This was shot on my nikon D3X. I was probably with the nikkor 70-200 mm 2.8 It's an useful lense in low light situation.

Inspiration

What inspired me ? The beautiful alley with the colors of the golden hour. My old dog rescued from an animal shelter is really good to give me five ! Press the button at the good moment and you got a beautiful pictures !

Editing

Just a little development in lightroom : White balance, shadows, clarity ... Just try adjustments and undo if it's too much. Thanks to the digital âge, it's ok to try, failli, do it again and ... succeed !

In my camera bag

I try to always carry as much as I can but if I need only one dslr I will take my d7200. The caméra is Just a tools. Don't forget it !
