Behind The Lens

Location

In my flower garden area, Dover Bay, Dover, Idaho

Time

Early in the morning.

Lighting

Just wait until I feel something compliments the subject the best. Sometimes check for days, sometimes not. Also sometimes take more then one photo (of course) to see how the lighting is.

Equipment

Nikon D7100 camera Tamron AF18-200mm 1:3.5-6.3 (IF) Macro

Inspiration

Simply, the beauty of the inner flower and its mystery. Often we do not look into the soul of anything, including flowers.

Editing

A little lightening up but not much of anything.

In my camera bag

When I am at home or in my garden, just my camera and sometimes tripod.

Feedback

Interesting question this because this year I have not felt the passion towards my flowers, I think because too much other responsibilities gonig on. Perhaps I will once the Hollyhocks bloom again. Go with your feelings is the bottom line here. If I don't feel the passion for the scene I truly believe the image lacks something.
