Location
I took this photo at the Louvre Museum grounds in Paris, France.Time
I think it was shot around 930pm to 10pm. Summer season was starting in Europe that time that's why the time of their sunsets were quite late already.Lighting
Basically, I just relied at the ambient light. I was in a rush because the natural light was quickly fading and I don't want to blow the highlights of the artiticial lights coming from the street lights as well as from the museum itself.Equipment
I used my Canon 100D paired with the Canon EF-S 10-18mm f/4.5-5.6 and since I forgot to bring my camera remote, I relied on my Triggertrap to capture the photo without introducing any unwanted vibrations. The tripod I used was a generic Velbon that I was able to put inside my LowePro Flipside 300 bag.Inspiration
What really inspired me was my wife who never fails to give her 100% support to this expensive hobby of mine.Editing
Yes, I did post-processed this photo following the workflow presented by Elia Locardi in his video tutorial series, "Photographing the World with Elia Locardi".In my camera bag
Normally I have in my bag my DSLR, my UWA lens, Formatt Hitech ND filters (10-stop, 6-stop, 4-stop), Formatt Hitech CPL, Triggertrap mobile kit, Benro tripod, RRS table-top tripod, 3 speedlights, 4 Yongnuo RF605 triggers for my lights, rechargeable batteries, cleaning cloth, lens pen, extra battery, extra memory cards, Formatt Hitech filter holder, speedlight gels and a flashlight.Feedback
Keep shooting, keep practicing your post-process skills, keep improving your techniques and keep learning new ways to stand out among the rest.
