The photo was taken in my home studio in San Rafael, California. Each photo, brings new experience and an amazing feeling of happiness which you can share with people you love.Time
Saturday morning. One of those beautiful mornings that makes you appreciate the small things. January 18, 2015 at 11:50AM.Lighting
I really love to work with a daylight especially in the early morning when the soft and dreamy light comes from the windows.Equipment
This photo was shot on a NIKON D810, with a 55mm f/1.4 lens. I did not use any other equipment.Inspiration
Inspiration came after a cup of freshly brewed coffee when I was sitting on the window and admiring the lovely view. And then my attention was attracted by the flowers that my lovely husband bought me a few days ago. In a few moments I was holding my camera and was shooting this beauty.Editing
In this particular photo, when the light is perfect and the background gives me this incredible contrast, which nicely highlights the main subject (flowers) I only changed the white balance in the raw file using Adobe Lightroom and applied Smart Sharpen Filter in Adobe Photoshop. In my camera bag
The most important equipment is my camera NIKON D810. At this moment I use only one lens 50mm f/1.4 and I am so happy to use this lens. And of course a tripod which became an important part of my work (it helps to make photographer's life easier).Feedback
I think that the most important thing is to avoid a direct harsh sunlight. Shot with a wide open Aperture in f/1.4-2.2 range, if you want to get this incredible softness. I would recommend to use a contrast background it will help to highlight white or light pink flowers. To add additional softness to a photo, use some amount of tulle around a lens. The color of a tulle can be white or beige. Secure it with an elastic band.
