Going out on a misty morning is one of the great pleasures as a photographer. This shot was made euarly in the morning at Kortenhoef. It is a tiny small piece of wonderfull nature 10 miles from my hometown Bergen op Zoom in the Netherlands.Time
It was shot early in the morning. Most of the time I get out of bed at 05.00 in the morning. And when conditions are great I put on my boots, grap my gear and there I go.Lighting
I specially love mornings. Not only because I get out of bed real easily. But I love the light during sunrise. Combined with a little ground mist you get some great light.Equipment
I work with a canon 6d, a not so fancy but sturdy tripod, and in this case the canon 24-70 f4 lensInspiration
Every now and than when weather conditions are fine I visit this place to see what has changed. Nature and great weather conditions early in the morning inspires me every day, year after year.Editing
I worked with google nik, lightroom and photoshop. I have no recipi for post processing but work more like a sculpture. My raw file is my rock and my software are my tools to ge the best out of the rock.In my camera bag
Canon 6d, canon 17-40 f4, canon 24-70 f4, canon 70-300 f3.5 / 5.6 , Hitech IRND -6 ,-10 ( square incl filterholder) B+W nd -10 screw on, grad ND 84.5 mm , tripod depending on the trip, swiss army knife, gafford tape , Canon 580 ex 2 speedlight, remote controlFeedback
My best advice is: Get out of bed early in the morning. The night before I check my weather app, the time of sunrise and set my alarm at the right time to be on the right time at the right spot.
