It's so wonderful to see a masterful capture of what may be the last of the wild horses left alive and wild. Bravo!

Location
This photo was taken in a field near my parents' house in Tregonetha, Cornwall. The view is down towards Truro over the Goss Moor Nature Reserve.Time
This was in the early evening during winter, freezing cold and battered by wind but always worth it.Lighting
I took this photo soon after moving to Cornwall and I was still only really learning my way around my camera. The clouds and the sunset did most of the legwork here! I wish I could go back to this moment with what I know now, I feel I could improve on this shot in so many ways!Equipment
Nikon D5100 with probably just the kit lens.Inspiration
These horses! I used to love seeing them every day on these hills, especially with the sunset behind them.Editing
Probably a bit too much. As I've said before, this was taken a while ago, long before I was confident in my processing technique. The shot itself was underexposed and some detail has been lost/some colour fidelity damaged in my early attempts to salvage it.In my camera bag
Nowadays? Mainly film stuff. Nikon F5, 50mm 1.8, and roll after roll of lovely Velvia.Feedback
Make sure you get out there! This shot took no real ability to take; it was all about the situation. Never stop shooting!
