It is backlit with a normal compact fluorescent lamp 10 watt, in a holder plugged into my kitchen outlet. I had the lime slice held up by a large fork, just touching the edge of the lime.Equipment
Camera: Canon EOS REBEL T3i Lens - 8-55mm EF-S IS Aperture: f/11.0 ISO: 100 Exposure: 1/125 No flash used HandheldInspiration
My favorite subject was Botany and I really loved to cut the transverse sections of stems and other things and then watch them under a microscope. So, I thought of taking a transverse section of a slice of lime which could show as much detail as it could with the naked eye. This is nowhere close to what can be seen through a microscope, but then I was happy with the shot.Editing
I adjusted a little contrast and saturation. In my camera bag

Cut the Citrus fruit slice as thin as possible. In this way the light can pass through it . In Photography just imagine anything and you can achieve it if you have your heart in it.
