the border between The Gambia and Senegal, this was a chaotic hour crossing to North Senegal, you had various queues on each side of the border, asking you where you were from, where you were staying, how long were you staying, these questions were asked at the head of each queue, one to show your passport, one for your yellow fever certificate, then a final queue to get your passport stamped then repeat it all in the next Country, the vehicles crossing varied from coaches, cars, donkeys, motor bikes, push bikes and the most common item a wheel barrow full of possessions or vegetables. An interesting waste of two hours of my life for what??

Cool image, John! Doesn't look or sound very organized...my head hurts just thinking about it.

Ron it was funny but not something you wanted to do daily. on the Senegal side the children pickpockets were a bid distraction, but it was a way of life for them. everybody was polite and queued perfectly waiting there turn
