Behind The Lens

Location

I took this at a wildlife sanctuary in Rhode Island,

Time

This was taken at about 2pm during a 3 hour waiting period for Snowy to take off. The sky was gray until a slight break of clearing came in.

Lighting

The sky was gray except for a clearing for a short period

Equipment

Nikon D850 with a Tamron 150-600 f4 at 600mm on tripod.

Inspiration

I was waiting for the Snowy to look in my direction when suddenly a visitor appeared and was sharing the spot light.

Editing

This is straight out of camera with only cropping to eliminate the blank area.

In my camera bag

I always have my Nikon 24-85 f2.8 and my 50mm f1.8
