Is that a "Quad" she's holding? Amen and beautiful capture of our Faith in Christ.

Location
We took this photo in a field just up the street from my home. Pennsylvania has lots of beautiful places to use for shoots and this one is super convenient for a last-minute excursion.Time
My daughter wanted some photos for her pending mission work in Italy, and as tradition dictates, she waited until the last minute to ask me. So we ran out one late afternoon to the nearest field - in a bit of a panic - and the rest is history.Lighting
We were lucky with the light considering how little planning went into the shoot. Wasn't golden hour, but wasn't glaring afternoon blast from the sun either.Equipment
I am the proverbial "on a budget" photographer. Canon EOS RP, no flash or tripod on this shoot. Just the camera, the model and a 50mm and 85mm prime lenses.Inspiration
We did a lot of the standard head shots but in this photo we wanted something a little more expressive of her love for the scriptures. It's an important aspect of her life and we hoped the photo would convey the sense of peace she gets from them.Editing
I'm a bit of a flailing monkey when it comes to post editing. I fiddle around until I get something that doesn't look too terrible. I ended up with a fairly consistent color tone (I hope) that felt clam and peaceful. In my camera bag
My bag is constant. Mostly because all the gear I own fits in it for now. Canon EOS RP, 50mm and 85mm also from Canon. Love those primes They're not the L series, but they hold their own for someone of my level. I also have a Sigma 70mm Macro Art lens and a Sigma 17-50mm. I carry a flash (but rarely use it) and most often use a basic Manfrotto travel tripod.Feedback
You can't go wrong in north central Pennsylvania if you need some nice settings for shoots. Forests, rolling hills, open fields, winding back roads. Come on over.
