Location
I shot this Fiat 500 at a classic car dealer in The Netherlands.Time
The shot was taken in the middle of the day in a bright showroom area with lots of cars around.Lighting
I used the FDL Technique (focused diffused lighting.) Not only to isolate the car from the background and the surrounding cars, but also to eliminate nasty reflections and show the iconic design of this car.Equipment
I use a Camera (Nikon D7000) on a tripod because I shoot multiple exposures. I think this is shot at 50mm. For lighting I used a single speedlight attached to a beauty dish with diffuser. Besides the flash with beauty dish I shot the flash through a standard diffuser panel to extra soften the light.Inspiration
Nasty reflections on cars inspired me to take this shot and shoot using the FDL Technique. I only want to show the true design of a car without distractions. A shot like this shows the beautiful curves on this legendary Fiat 500 classic.Editing
Yes I shot multiple exposures and combined them in Photoshop. In my camera bag
I travel light: - tripod - camera - lens 2x (50mm, 24-70mm) - Speedlight or strobe - Beautydish - Diffuser panelFeedback
